When I am stocking up for my juice cleanse there are a few places in the UK where you can buy organic vegetables online.
Not just organic vegetables of course. Most places sell a range of other products too.
I tend to stick to the Sainsbury’s Organic (SO) range because it is easier for me to do a full shop online. That is a little lazy of me though because the big supermarkets are not always great at paying the farmers their due.
The more I read about that the more tempted I am to try another source.
Abel and Cole at ableandcole.co.uk: They provide organic fruit and vegetable boxes. Great to stock up for juicing for a whole week. They also provide a range of soups too and bread that looks good.
Big Barn at bigbarn.co.uk: If you want to reduce your carbon footprint and buy local then this is the place. When you visit their site you have to add your postcode so they can provide you with local information relevant to your area. Great organic beef box available and food for vegetarians too. They also have a nice range of tropical spices and seasonings.
Natural Grocery at naturalgrocery.co.uk: As well as organic food you can also buy household and skin care products too.
Real Foods at realfoods.co.uk: They will not only provide you with organic food but are great if you are an ethical shopper. They have a number of fairtrade products. MUST try the 70% dark chocolate with mango and coconut (fairtrade) and/or the chilli and orange.
Riverford at riverford.co.uk : They run an organic farm shop and you can buy organic vegetables, fruit, meats, milk, eggs and cheese to name a few. I have a friend who sometimes shops with them and she loves their organic veg.
The above are just a few places where you can buy organic vegetables, meats and other products online.
