This is my red devil juice recipe that includes loads of beetroot along with kale and some other good stuff.
Beetroot is of exceptional nutritional value; especially the greens, which are rich in calcium, iron and vitamins A and C.
Beetroots are an excellent source of folic acid and a very good source of fibre, manganese and potassium.
The fibre in beetroot has been shown to increase the level of antioxidant enzymes in our body.
They are a great source of glutamine which is an essential amino acid that keeps our intestinal tract healthy.
Ingredients for this vegetable juice includes
Kale (as much as you can stand)
Beetroot (1 pack of organic beetroot containing 5)
Optional – ginger and lemon (I tend to add them to most of my juices)
Juice all the ingredients and serve
Instead of kale I will use celery (nicer tasting)
